The Consular Section of the Embassy of Brazil in Cairo issues visas to Egyptian nationals as well as to third country nationals resident in its area of jurisdiction who wish to travel to Brazil. Visas are issued for tourism purpose as well as for business purpose.

For non-Egyptian citizens, consultation with the competent authorities in Brazil may be required prior to granting the visa. Please check with the Consular Section before applying.

Please note that documents presented in support of your application may be checked for authenticity.

In every case the Consular Officer must be satisfied that the applicant is going to Brazil for the period and the purpose applied for.

The Consular Section reserves the right to require any additional document not listed on the general requirements.

No document (contract etc.) signed in Brazil by a non-resident will have any legal effect unless this alien citizen holds a business visa.
